A Brief Glimpse

February 2nd, 2013

{Writer – a person who commits his/her thoughts, ideas, etc. to writing.}

As I write, that is something I do – place my thoughts and ideas into my main character’s head and make it theirs. Writing stories comes naturally. The ideas flow so fast, it is hard to put it into words. The characters I create become a part of me, and I feel as though I know them personally.

Right now I am in the midst of getting my first book published. It is titled The Diaries of the Woodsmall Sisters. Three different diaries make up this series: Carolyn, Bethany, and Laura. These three sisters live in Minnesota in the 1850s. On their 13th birthday, they receive a diary and in it, they write about everything that is happening in their lives. Throughout the diaries, each girl goes through a time when they must rely completely on God. From sickness to moving away, they learn that God can see them through anything, if only they trust him.

An excerpt from the book will soon be posted and you can catch for yourself a brief glimpse into the lives of the Woodsmall sisters.
