Eternal Home: Shelter = Judgement House

October 14th, 2013

Life is so unpredictable. You can spend all the time in the world worrying about the future, but the reality is simple; no one, but God, knows the future. Do we spend all our time worrying about little insignificant things or do we spend our time working on our relationships with God, family, and friends?

Where is our shelter? Do we hide under things that will surely fall, or do we rest on God, our eternal dwelling place?

After saying all that, I would like to invite you all to a walk-through drama at Immanuel Leidy’s Church called “Shelter.” By witnessing this drama, you will see that the choice of waiting even one day to accept God can forever affect where you will spend eternity.

Performance dates are October 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, & 31; it is a one hour drama with tours running from 6-9pm. You can go to http://leidyschurch.org/ for more details.

Revelation 21:3-4, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Isn’t that just a wonderful description of what heaven will be like? There will be no more sadness or pain and we will forever dwell with God.

Life is filled with choices we have to make each and every day of our lives, but there is one choice that is more important than any other. Will we accept Jesus as our eternal shelter and spend eternity with him? Or will we turn him away, say we don’t need him, and end up for eternity in hell?

I hope you will all come to Judgement House and are moved in a powerful and spiritual way by the message! If you do end up going, I would love to hear how you enjoyed it and what spoke to you, so feel free to leave a comment!

Have a good night!
